Built for mandals, made in Pune
Maharashtra has 80,000+ festival mandals. They run on faith, volunteers, and decades-old paper registers. Utsav's job is simple: keep the tradition, drop the paperwork.
Why we built Utsav
Every year, mandal trustees in Pune, Mumbai, and small towns across Maharashtra repeat the same routine — handwritten receipts, paper registers, donations counted by lamplight, expenses scribbled in a notebook, and reports cobbled together at 2 AM the night before the AGM.
The donors deserve better. The volunteers deserve better. The trustees deserve better. And most of all, the festival deserves better — less time spent on bookkeeping, more on the celebration itself.
We tried a few existing “mandal apps” before building Utsav. They were either too generic (built for any non-profit, not our festivals), too expensive (subscription pricing made no sense for a 10-day event), or too clinical (no respect for the devotional context).
So we made our own. Festival-first. Maharashtra-first. Receipt-quality first. Yours forever.
What we believe
Tradition first
Technology in service of the festival, not the other way around. Every receipt carries our blessing.
Your data, your seva
Mandal data belongs to the mandal. Always exportable. Never sold.
Speak Marathi
Built for Maharashtra. English, मराठी, हिंदी, ಕನ್ನಡ — your volunteers shouldn't learn English to take a vargani.
Honest pricing
One price per festival. No surprises, no hidden per-message fees, no monthly drip for a 10-day event.
Made in Pune
Built by a small team that grew up on Ganpati, Navratri, and Dahi Handi. We know how a real mandal runs.
Tradition + tech
Carved receipt frames, Sanskrit mantras, donor wall — all generated by code. No template, no compromise.
